About this event
The Home Office is growing our software engineering profession across our main locations in Manchester, Sheffield, Croydon and Glasgow, and we want talented people to join us and make a real difference to the lives of millions of people across the UK every day.
We’re opening our doors to anyone who wants to know more about working at the forefront of public sector technology with a focus on our DevOps Engineering function. You’ll meet some of the technical teams who enable the design, build and maintenance of the technology behind the services we provide for our users. Our DevOps teams do this by building tools, methodology and processes facilitating Software Engineers’ work in building core products using modern tech that touches millions of UK citizens every day. At this event, we’ll also provide you with information on the recruitment process and you can ask us questions.
